Marika Walker

Hi, I'm Marika, a registered Nutritional Therapist specialising in Fertility and Women's Health. My ultimate goal is to assist you in achieving your dream of becoming a parent.

I am deeply passionate about helping individuals and couples experience the joy of starting a family, whether conceiving naturally or through assisted reproductive technologies such as IVF or ICSI. My primary focus is to optimise your body and your partner's, if applicable, to enhance your chances of conception and support a healthy pregnancy leading to the birth of a healthy baby.

My Vision

My vision is to equip you with a deep understanding of your body, personalized nutrition plans, and evidence-based lifestyle strategies, empowering you to actively participate in your fertility journey and make your heartfelt fertility wishes come true.

My Dream

My dream is that one day, all women will know that they have so much power in their own hands; they will not feel helpless in the face of infertility. Instead, they’ll be armed with the knowledge that they have the power to change and influence their story.

My Personal Journey

My personal struggle with infertility inspired me to specialise in fertility and women’s health. When I learned we needed ICSI (Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection) to conceive, I knew little about how nutrition and lifestyle changes could improve our chances. The journey was stressful and, unfortunately, unsuccessful. However, we were eventually blessed with the adoption of two beautiful daughters—a gift I will always treasure.

Having experienced the emotional rollercoaster of IVF firsthand, I am passionate about helping other women prepare their bodies for successful treatment or natural conception.

I hold a degree in Nutritional Therapy from the College of Naturopathic Medicine (CNM) in Manchester. Today, I specialise in working with women and couples navigating the often very challenging path to parenthood. I aim to provide compassionate support and evidence-based advice to optimise fertility and overall health.

I am originally from Finland, but I call the beautiful Peak District my home these days, where I live with my partner, two daughters, my Irish Wolfhound and my three cats!
